Just watched this Screening by Alan Yentob of William Eggleston and his work. It is part of the BBC imagine series and follows the career of the photographer through some of his images. it gives a behind the scenes look at how he works and some of his reasoning for his images, and goes into more details about his first show at MOMA in 1976, curated by John Szarkowski, and the critical debate that followed. It also shows some of his video work and shows some details about his complicated private life, with insights from his children and some other family members and friends.
